    I think your '...Galactica' comment was right, and quite in keeping about your observation that Sisko is making what seems too much of this---part of the whole point of Star Trek is to believe that progress can make us better people than we are now, meaning that Sisko would probably be bothered by things that I find o.k., like eating meat from animals someone killed, or sleeping well while an infant starves somewhere else on Earth. '...Galactica' seems to buy into a 'human nature' argument of the sort I hate.
